I wanted to be able to be in a few pics, on occasion. And I wanted my boys not to feel like they are in front of the camera all the time. I want to make it more fun. So, I thought I could buy a remote, set up my camera on the tripod, and click away. AND it gives G something to play with :)
So, I bought the Vello Freewave remote. Great choice :) I tested it out on myself first. I had some focusing issues, and I'm still trying to figure out the easiest way to set things up. But, it's been fun to play with. The remote is pretty easy to hide, too.
