well, I wanted to start this post, titled "top 12 of '12". in this, i wanted to pick one picture only from each month, starting in february (when i actually started getting into photography). not too tough initially - i pretty much sucked. once i hit june/july it got a bit harder, so i gave up. too many favorites to narrow it down that much. some of them i was proud of - from a technical/photography standpoint. some of them weren't very great, but i was emotionally in love with.
so, here are my 'favorites' of 2012.
