belly buttons, mickey mouse & magnatiles

i took my camera out tuesday (new years day) hoping to get some pictures for my 365 project. i wanted "belly button" pictures, but my favorite turned out to be the lashes one i posted earlier. so these are some of the other ones i loved. grady spent a lot of time dancing with mickey mouse, playing with magnatiles, and playing on our new iPad (has interactive games & shows). drew really looks up to his big brother and just runs around giggling :)

my project {365}

day 1

i decided to try a project 365 this year. one photo a day, every day, all year. i thought the first of the year would be a great day to start, and it's a nice new year's resolution as well - (continue) to document my life - each and EVERY day.

the everyday details - that's what i love.

favorites of 2012

well, I wanted to start this post, titled "top 12 of '12". in this, i wanted to pick one picture only from each month, starting in february (when i actually started getting into photography). not too tough initially - i pretty much sucked. once i hit june/july it got a bit harder, so i gave up. too many favorites to narrow it down that much. some of them i was proud of - from a technical/photography standpoint. some of them weren't very great, but i was emotionally in love with.

so, here are my 'favorites' of 2012.
